Two friends and I are keen to see a matinee of the show (maybe 11th November) . We are all pensioners and note that you do a concessionary price. Does this apply to a Thurs matinee and what is the availability?

    Thanks

      Hi Mandy,

Thanks for your question. For £25 you can get the best available seats from lastminute.com, and as the show is in the few months time for you, the availability should be pretty good. Alternatively, discounttheatre.com are selling Upper Circle tickets for £44 each. The Upper Circle is rather high however, and you may feel far from the action, but the view should be good and not restricted at all.

      I hope this helps!

    Hi Alice’
We wish to purchase tickets for the matinee on the 14 July, 4 adults and want really good seats. When I go on line to book I can’t seem to choose seats. Can you give me an idea of good stall seats and how I can book?
    Thanks
    Jenny

      Hi Jenny,

To purchase tickets please visit the tickets page. Tickets are less than £20 each for the matinee on 14th July, and as the Playhouse Theatre is quite small, all seats in this section will have excellent views and you will feel very close to the stage and a part of the action.

      I hope this helps!

      Hi Sheila.

Dreamboats and Petticoats is currently running until at least 24th November 2012, so you will definitely have the opportunity to see it more than once!

Hi There, I have tried getting through on the phone but it’s impossible as I never get through to a person and can’t waste any more money trying to get a simple answer to my question.

Is Dreamboats and Petticoats running into 2012? Specifically 12th January 2012.

Please let me know as soon as possible.

    Thank you Helen.

    Hi there
I am a pensioner confined to a wheelchair with a carer. There does not seem to be a facility for booking online with any of the ‘discount’ websites. Please advise.
    Thank you
    Geraldine

      Hi Geraldine,

Unfortunately most discount websites don’t offer the option of booking for wheelchair users. However, the Playhouse Theatre does have disabled access and operates concessions for disabled patrons and their companions for certain shows – the access booking number is 0844 871 7677.

      I hope this is helpful!

do you have any private boxes for the show, if so how much are the tickets

    • #16 written by Olivia

      Hi Dawn,
There are two boxes at stage level available for the show, although as the stage does extend in front of them restricting the view somewhat you could be better off with stalls seats!

My husband has walking difficulties and finds it difficult to manage stairs, I will contact your Box Office with regards suitable seats in the theatre but could you tell me what restaurants are near to the theatre to avoid too much walking.

    • #18 written by Olivia

      Hi Jan,
The theatre is in a very busy part of town so it shouldn’t be difficult to find something to suit you, but if you want something more specific we have now added a restaurants page to the site with details on Prezzo. This is an Italian restaurant on the same road as the theatre within a short walking distance, and you can even get meal+ticket deals for a good price.

      Hi Mike,
If you bought tickets for the show through Theatre Tickets Cheap.com and used the Flexiticket option you should be able to get your money back. Priced at only £2.50 per ticket, FleXiticket will allow bookers to exchange the tickets they have purchased up to 3 days out from the performance date for another performance, or, for a credit with Encore valid for 12 months – whatever the reason, no questions asked.

Can I use theatre vouchers at this theatre

    Thanks

    Roger

    • #22 written by Alice

      Hi Roger,

As I am not sure where you got your theatre vouchers from, I am guessing that it would depend upon the terms and conditions on the vouchers. If they are valid for any West End theatre show then you can indeed use them to purchase tickets to see Dreamboats and Petticoats. I hope this helps!

      Hi Dee,

If you would like to book tickets in a box, you will have to do so directly at the theatre. Prices start from around £85 for a box of two people.
